Getting started
Vibeminter builds a native SwiftUI iPhone app from a description and guides you through each Apple step to publish it under your own Apple Developer account. This page covers what you need and the first run.
What you can build today
One iPhone app per project, written in SwiftUI. It is built on our machines, so you do not need a Mac and you do not write code.
Before anything is built, a concept check reads your description. It refuses ideas we do not build, and its answer comes before the build starts: on a screen of its own for a new app, and in the chat for a change. We do not build:
- apps that collect other people's passwords or card details, or that impersonate a person or an organization
- malware, spyware or anything made to watch people without their knowledge
- gambling, adult content, lending, trading or investment advice, or medical advice and diagnosis
- apps aimed at children, or apps that fake a real person's face or voice
- copies of another company's app, or apps named after another party's trademark
Before you start
- You are 18 or older. The service is for adults only, and you confirm your age when you sign up.
- Your email address is verified. Settings has the form for it, and a build or a purchase asks for it first.
- An Apple Developer account of your own, but only when you reach the publishing steps. You can describe, build and preview an app without one, and the Apple page tells you where you stand if you have none yet.
Your first app
- Your move
Create your account. A short setup asks you to agree to the terms and, if you like, the name we greet you with; you can close it and finish later.
- Your move
On Projects, write the idea in a few sentences in the box at the top and press Check my idea; the concept check answers on a screen of its own before anything is held. Buying credits is covered in Billing.
- Your move
Continue to the estimate in credits, then press Build my app. The build starts and the project opens: the chat shows the turn, its steps sit on one line you can open, and a preview appears beside the chat when it finishes.
- Your move
Keep asking for changes in the same project. The estimate for a change shows beside Send before you send it, and each turn ends with a receipt in its own card.
- Your move
In a project, press Apple above the preview to see the next step on the road to the App Store. Apple appears once a build has passed. Publishing walks through it.
On a computer, the left rail of the app shows your next step on most pages; on the projects page and the journey page, the page itself shows it. Once your first build has passed, that step is your next Apple step, with a button that opens the answer to what is blocking you. On a phone, that button is the first entry of the Menu. In a project, the bar above the preview names that step instead.
The free Apple checker
The Apple checker asks a few questions about your Apple Account and tells you where you are and what comes next. It needs no account and sends nothing to a server.
Scheduled
These do not exist yet. Each one names what it waits on, and none has a date.
- ScheduledTargets beyond the iPhone app: Apple Watch, Apple TV, Apple Vision Pro, widgets and other extensions. Projects build single-target iPhone apps today.
- ScheduledApps with accounts, sync, push notifications and a hosted backend, and social or multi-user apps.
- ScheduledA recorded walkthrough of a real first run.
